About your Host
CM Sears (she/her/they) is an educator, essayist, poet, fiction writer, and MFA-interdisciplinary artist. CM graduated with a Master of Arts from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI, returning to school after a long career as a professional dancer. CM's essay on poet Muriel Rukeyser and dancer Martha Graham is forthcoming in 2025 in the book, Revisiting Modernist Texts (by Bloomsbury Books.) Christina-Marie is also a dancer/choreographer and interdisciplinary artist. In addition to Yoga, She practices the following dance forms: Jazz, Modern, Tap, Sacred Rhythms, and Ballet, specializing in body-friendly dance.
